What is the Teenomics Startup Simulator?
The Startup Simulator is a free, browser-based teen business simulator built for students ages 11–18. Instead of reading about entrepreneurship, you actually run a small company end-to-end — picking a real teen business idea, validating it with customer interviews, designing the product, pricing it, choosing a marketing channel, and finishing with a founder grade based on your profit-and-loss statement.
Every choice changes the math. Drop the price and demand goes up but margin shrinks. Pay for paid ads and reach more customers but burn cash. How long does the Startup Simulator take?+
Each run takes about 5–10 minutes. There are six different starter businesses, randomized risk events, and a 'bring your own idea' org-builder mode, so every replay produces a different outcome.
What ages is the Startup Simulator for?+
It's built for ages 11–18 — middle school and high school students. Teachers also use it as a hands-on entrepreneurship lesson aligned to CCSS, CEE, Jump$tart, and NBEA standards.
